We are fabricators. The steel that arrives here leaves as furniture, doors, windows and staircases — cut, welded and finished by the same hands.
Metal Studio began as a single fabrication bay taking on the work other shops turned down — the awkward openings, the curved handrails, the furniture that had to match a drawing exactly.
That reputation built the workshop we run today: dedicated cutting, welding and finishing bays, a drawing office, and fitters who install what we make. We still take the awkward jobs. They are the ones worth doing.
What has not changed is the sequence. Measure the site ourselves. Draw it. Agree it. Only then cut steel.
To make steelwork that fits the building it was measured in and still works decades later — without the owner having to understand fabrication to get it.
Control every stage. We measure, draw, cut, weld, finish and install ourselves, because each hand-off to someone else is where a tolerance goes missing.
We take our own dimensions on site. A drawing from someone else is a starting point, not a specification.
Stated section sizes are the sizes used. We do not thin a box section down to win a quote.
Grinding, blending and coating are part of the job, not an upsell. Bare welds rust and look it.
The quote you approve is the invoice you get, unless you change the scope in writing.
